Anti-Bullying
Victoria launched her “Sing & Swing for No Kid Bullied” campaign on January 17, 2015 at her benefit concert at River Bend Country Club in Great Falls, Virginia. Her mission is to spread awareness of the negative effects of bullying among kids and teens in schools. Her personal experience being bullied in 3rd grade inspired her original song/album, “Warrior” and two of the songs on her upcoming EP, “Fire” and “Mirror”. Through live performances at organizations and schools as well as through selling her album, “Warrior” to fund her work, Victoria hopes she can convey this important message through her music.
Hello, I was very touched by your stand up to bullying campaign. I am a third grade teacher and am constantly working on building my students concept of empathy and how to treat people. Words can hurt and how do you recover from that. I was wondering if you would be willing to share the lyrics that go with the song warrior so that I can have my students really think about its message.
Thank you very much,
Kelly McKay

Hello Victoria, my name is Dominick. I was just watching a rerun of the drive, chip, and putt at Augusta. I saw your story and was very intrigued! I went to youtube to watch your video, Warrior…wow! You are absolutely amazing! I am a 46-yr-old man and I am not ashamed to admit that you brought tears to my eyes, simply beautiful! Oh my goodness, you have no idea how blessed you are, and the amazing success you are going to encounter in your lifetime. When I was younger I did a lot of defending of people who were being bullied, and to this day I still come across situations. One thing I’ve learned in my experiences is this: when someone is bullied, it’s never the inadequacy of the person being bullied, it is always the bully’s inadequacies. Anyway, I just had to write to you to let you know how deeply you and your story moved me, I wish you all the best in life, and I hope you are prepared for it, because it’s coming for you! And by the way, don’t forget to thank your parents for taking the time in this day and age to raise you proper, their efforts will be rewarded greatly as they get to watch you blossom into a beautifully amazing person. Take care and hope to keep hearing about you for a long time! Dominick Albanese
